Opening it the first time

The installers are not code-signed yet, so the first install needs one extra step. Files from moextension.com are safe.

Windows: if "Windows protected your PC" appears, click More info, then Run anyway.

Mac:

1. Open the .dmg and drag MoExtension into Applications.
2. Open MoExtension. When "MoExtension Not Opened" appears, click Done (not Move to Trash).
3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, click "Open Anyway" next to MoExtension.
4. Click "Open Anyway" again and enter your Mac password. Only needed for the first install.

macOS 12 to 14: Control-click MoExtension in Applications → Open → Open.

Another way: paste one command

Rather skip the warning? Paste one line into a terminal. Files downloaded from the command line carry no "downloaded from the Internet" mark, so Windows and macOS do not ask. The command checks the installer's SHA-256 before installing.

Windows: click Start, type PowerShell, open it and paste:

Mac: press ⌘ + Space, type Terminal, open it and paste:

What the commands run: i.ps1 · i.sh. With Smart App Control on, Windows 11 may block the unsigned installer outright, even from the command line; if so, contact us.
